I’ve known Dan for what seems like forever. He’s one of my brothers greatest friends and I couldn’t be more honored to be photographing his wedding as he gets hitched to the beautiful, Kathryn. Kathryn and Dan are just so fun and so sweet and I really couldn’t be more excited about their wedding. Not only do I love Kathryn and Dan, but their lovely day is being planned my my officemate, Boldly Chic Events-which is always a wedding I look forward to. And here’s just another reason to look forward to their September wedding, for the first time in my career, my brother will be a groomsmen in one of my weddings. This whole wedding is just wrapping up to be one that I know I’ll love every single minute of and I couldn’t be more thankful to Kathryn and Dan for letting me capture so many special and fun moments for them. Enjoy a sneak of their engagement session.
Betsy and Nick are THE most wonderful couple and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for well over a year now. In fact, my entire office has been buzzing about Betsy and Nick’s wedding for some time now. Lori, my officemate and owner of Boldly Chic Events, planned their beautiful day and it seems like every day leading up to their wedding was just constant chatter about how much we adore this pair.
And I certainly don’t think BCE and I are alone on that sentiment. Betsy and Nick are completely perfect for one another and their decade together is proof of their true love. They’re the kind of couple that everyone loves. Every single person.
Betsy and Nick couldn’t have planned a more beautiful wedding. Their Skyline Club reception was stunning with gorgeous decor and beautiful gold touches. And the view of the Indianapolis circle is always an impressive one.
I have loved working with this couple and they’re certainly one that I’m sad to say goodbye to on a wedding level. But I truly think Betsy will be a girl who stays in my life for years to come. Congrats to Betsy and Nick. I’m thrilled for you both! Enjoy!
(thanks to Abby Hacker Photography for second shooting this wedding)
Oh my goodness I had the best time taking Jennifer and Mark’s engagement session. These two couldn’t be a kinder, more in love couple. They’re fun and photogenic and so sweet to one another. Jennifer and Mark are rocking a long-distance relationship by cherishing every moment of their together time. I’m so glad that we could take so many sweet pictures during their full week of together time and on the eve of Jennifer’s birthday. They sure know how to make life together great and I’m so honored to capture some special days for them.
Wow! What a beautiful wedding. Jenny and Matt’s wedding was just as stunning as they are. And also just as special. This Central Library ceremony and reception was gorgeous and so memorable. The ceremony space was beautiful and intimate and so green and lush despite being surrounded by downtown Indianapolis. And the reception that Jenny designed was perfect to the final detail. The grey linens and blush flowers were a soft touch to such a modern space.
I had a blast with this couple and I’m really sad that I no longer have this wedding to look forward to. But luckily I have hundreds of lovely photos that will long be some of my favorites. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Katie and Thomas are getting married next year and Mustard Seed Gardens and I couldn’t be more excited. I love MSG. The grounds are beautiful and so inspiring and weddings held inside their pretty barn are completely stunning. But mostly I’m looking forward to capturing perfect memories for Katie and Thomas. These two are so fun and so nice and one day of pictures with them just wasn’t enough. I know we’re going to have a blast at their wedding. Enjoy this sneak peek of their Mustard Seed Gardens engagement session.
Alyssa and Austin asked me to meet them in Bloomington for a great day of photos on IU’s campus. I was so excited for this session because even though I’m a Wildcat, IU has the most beautiful campus I’ve ever seen. It’s filled with beautiful buildings and lush trees that made the perfect backdrop for Alyssa and Austin’s session. And I’m so glad they brought their sweet pup, Hoosier. This IU loving couple is so great and I can’t wait for their wedding next year. Enjoy this sneak peek!
My cousin’s getting married! I’m so, so thrilled for my cousin, Scott, and his beautiful fiance, Allison. I just couldn’t be happier that these two will be tieing the know next fall…and I’ll be there to capture every moment of their Virginia nuptials. Allison and Scott are the sweetest couple and I couldn’t be happier that they’re both my family now. Enjoy this sneak peek of the love birds.
I had the best time during Lindsay and Kevin’s engagement session. These two are so nice and FUNNY. I loved joking with them as we strolled through Broad Ripple, snapping photos, and talking about some of their favorite spots in the area. Lindsay and Kevin met at Usual Suspects and I loved that we started their engagement session right where they first locked eyes. Kevin was eager to point out the exact spot where their story began-and I love that their story has an exact begining…and now a picture to remember it with.
I’m really looking forward to Lindsay and Kevin’s wedding. I know I’m going to have a blast with these two and that’s exactly why I love my job. Thanks to Lindsay and Kevin for a great session. Enjoy this sneak peek.
I love these two. They’re so fun together and I had a really great time taking their beautiful engagement photos. Alyssa and Ben are in my small group and I think they’re just too sweet. I’m always so thankful to my friends for letting me photograph their wedding. Not only is it an incredible honor, but it’s also so much fun to get to be so heavily involved in their wedding. I love seeing Alyssa and Ben’s excitement, hearing about their plans, and receiving photos of Alyssa’s dress options. It’s already been a blast working with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding!
I spent 4 years at the University of Kentucky earning my photography degree and falling in love with horse farms and southern drawls so going back to my Old Kentucky Home for a wedding is always a welcomed weekend.
This wedding was especially wonderful for me because Emily and Wes and I share some of the same friends. So some of their guests were my sorority sisters, friends, and past brides and grooms. It was great to see so many people that I just love being around.
But nothing was as fun as spending time with Emily and Wes. I’ve heard from so many friends that Emily was as nice as they come. Just sweet, so loving, happy, and so kind to everyone. And they were exactly right. Emily is wonderful. I absolutely loved watching her excitement as she put on her wedding dress and exclaimed, “I’m getting married today!” And I loved seeing Wes happy as can be as he exchanged a first glance with his beautiful bride.
This wedding was a perfect celebration with incredible scenery, nice people, an amazing horse barn turned wedding venue, and a beautiful, beautiful couple. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks to Emily and Wes for letting me spend a great day with them. Wishing you both so much happiness!
Enjoy this sneak peek.
