Jen and Kalvin’s wedding was the last that we photographed in 2013. A late December wedding nestled right outdoors at the family vineyard. When Jen and I first chatted about her wedding I had imagined it would be covered in snow, not flash flood warnings. But by now we know with certain that not even a rainy day can keep a genuinely happy couple from a happy day. So underneath a tent, on the family vineyard, surrounded by family, Jen and Kalvin began their lives as husband and wife.

Following their “I Do’s”, the newlyweds met 300 guests at their family owned Winery Warehouse for gorgeous wine inspired decor, fantastic food, the incredibly fun and talented My Yellow Rickshaw and a surprise live reindeer photo booth prop.

This wedding was a blast from top to bottom. Thanks to Jen and Kalvin for an amazing finale to our 2013 wedding season. Wishing you both the happiest life!

When I was driving to Lynn and Kyle’s wedding, the temperature was 15 degrees. But it sure was a beautiful day. Snow had fallen in Indy and the city was covered with a light white layer. It was a perfect day to get married.

Lynn and Kyle planned a stunning winter wedding. Their deep red pops of color and gold accents, ivory wraps, and beautiful Scottish Rite ceremony made their day absolutely lovely and I am so glad I was able to photograph so many special details. But nothing could hold a candle to how special Lynn and Kyle were. They were happy and brave, going out in the freezing weather with smiles on their faces. They were a joy to be with. Thanks to Lynn and Kyle for a great day. Wishing you all the best. Enjoy this sneak peek.

Courtney and Justin tied the knot at a beautiful Scottish Rite Ceremony. Their wedding, planned by Kim King Smith and decorated by the gorgeous florals of Posh Petals was a perfect day. From the personal touches of the IU grooms cake and Chicago popcorn favors, odes to their college days and current home, to the fantastic entertainment by Living Proof, every moment of this wedding was fun, fun, fun.

And Courtney and Justin themselves, well they’re simply fantastic. Their wedding was cold and photos were quick with attempts to warm up in between. But there wasn’t a moment of their day that had them looking anything but overjoyed. They’re perfect for each other and I’m so glad I could photograph their happiest day…and I can’t wait to see their Loves Reel video of it.

Wow! What a beautiful wedding. A gorgeous, gorgeous Mustard Seed Gardens outdoor ceremony, precious succulent escort cards created by the talented Interprintations and Sweet Pea Floral, a killer bouquet, and a day planned perfectly by Boldly Chic Events. This wedding was one I had been looking forward to for months and months and with total reason. I just knew that with Megan’s style and taste and her team of wedding professionals, this would be one of my favorites of the year. And Megan and Bradley didn’t disappoint.

But without a doubt the best part of this wedding was Megan and Bradley themselves. They are lovely. Absolutely tender and in love. They’re sweet as can be and I couldn’t have enjoyed my time with them more. Thanks to Megan and Bradley for including me in your beautiful day. It was a pleasure capturing so many special moments. Enjoy this sneak peek.

Jenni and Ryan met at Butler and got engaged at Butler. So it was completely perfect that we photographed their engagement session at Butler. I loved spending a day on campus with these two-getting to know them both and seeing the exact spot where the proposal happened. I’m completely aware of the blessings in business that await me in 2014 and Jenni and Ryan’s wedding is one of those blessings. My clients give me so much joy. Huge thanks to Jenni and Ryan for a wonderful day and for adding so much happiness to my work. You all are the best!

Kelsey and Christian are the sweetest couple. They compliment each other perfectly and make each other so happy. There’s nothing I love to photograph more than a great pair and these two are exactly that, through and through. We took Kelsey and Christian’s engagement photos at Eagle Creek. A special place for Kelsey and a beautiful spot for fall photos, Eagle Creek was the perfect location for these two to capture some beautiful shots before their 2014 Mustard Seed Gardens wedding. Thanks to Kelsey and Christian for a fun session. I can’t wait for your wedding!

Angie and Nate are just the sweetest couple. They’re fun and friendly and on their wedding day they were ready for nothing but a good time. And that’s exactly what everyone at their wedding had-a good time. Angie and Nate threw the most beautiful wedding at the IMA with their ceremony surrounded by the beautiful IMA galleries and their reception in the Deer Zinc ballroom overlooking the beautiful scenery and IMA fountain. Every moment of their wedding was special and lovely and I am so thrilled that Angie and Nate gifted me with the opportunity to photograph their happiest day.

Congratulations to Angie and Nate. I’m overjoyed for you both. Enjoy this sneak peek.

Sara and Michael had a beautiful wedding to celebrate a beautiful life together. Together they celebrated their abundant blessings with loving family and friends, a happy new marriage and a baby on the way. I’m so glad I got to capture their special day as they said “I Do,” and I’m so excited for the next chapter of their life.

Big thanks to Sara and Michael for being absolutely wonderful and thanks to my officemate, Boldly Chic Events, for helping to plan a beautiful wedding. Enjoy this sneak peek.

Betsy and Nick. Man I love these two. Since the minute I met them last winter, I have been looking forward to their wedding and this engagement session. This Boldly Chic Events couple is one that’s keeping our office a-buzz as we, somewhat patiently, wait for their September 2014 wedding. Lori and I just know it’s going to be a wedding we’ll be loving for years.

For Betsy and Nick’s engagement session we went down to IU and hit up some of these Hoosiers’ favorite spots. I always love seeing Bloomington in the fall and this session captured it in all it’s beauty. But even though the changing leaves were beautiful, my favorite part of the day was still Betsy and Nick. Thanks to you both for a fun day. I can’t wait for next year. Enjoy this sneak peek.

Jenny is one of my sweet sorority sisters who has honored me with the opportunity to take her wedding photos. Jenny and Eric are getting hitched next year but in the mean time, I headed to Louisville for an engagement session. Jenny and Eric are a blast and I loved spending time with them both. We took their photos around the Parklands, a gorgeous and HUGE park in Louisville. I loved hearing about the home they share together and their upcoming honeymoon. I finished my quick trip to Kentucky with brunch with Jenny and some girlfriends. I couldn’t have asked for a more fun bride or a more fun day. Thanks to Jenny and Eric for a great time. Enjoy this sneak peek.
