I’ve known for 17 years that Courtney was a beautiful person. She is kind and caring and funny and loving. So I knew, without a doubt, that Courtney would be the most beautiful bride. On her wedding day, Courtney simply radiated joy. Courtney and Grant created a wedding day that was all about their love. Teary vows and constant happiness overflowed all day and that’s exactly the kind of wedding you dream of for your friend.
Thanks to Courtney and Grant for a wonderful day. I couldn’t be more thrilled that such a wonderful couple is now spending the rest of their lives together.
Crista and Blake had a really special day. They filled their bridal party with loving friends and family, had amazing weather, treated each other with incredible love, and had a stunning ceremony and reception at the Omni Severin. I loved the cheerful and pretty colors Crista chose for her wedding. They looked beautiful on a perfect October day and complimented the stunning Omni ballroom perfectly. I’ll also say that those cheerful colors matched Crista’s happy and friendly personality. Both Crista and Blake are wonderful people and I am completely thrilled that as I write this, they’re enjoying their happily ever after. Congrats to Crista and Blake on a beautiful life together. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Wow! I almost couldn’t love a wedding more than I loved this one. Everything about Liz and James’ wedding was gorgeous. Just stunning. Their Indiana Landmarks Center ceremony and reception were flawless. The colors and flowers and beautiful architecture of the space really could take your breath away. Landmarks is easily one of my favorite spaces in Indianapolis and it’s easy to see why-it’s beautiful and fun and inviting. All of Liz and James’ guests had a great time from the minute Liz walked down the aisle to the very last song My Yellow Rickshaw played. This day was a blast.
But the best part of this entire wedding was Liz and James themselves. They are absolutely wonderful to each other and everyone. All day they were incredibly happy and so gracious. They were thankful and joyful and it was a pleasure spending their wedding day with them. Big thanks to Liz and James for letting us capture these photos for you. Your wedding will always be one of our favorites. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Kelly and Louis had a beautiful wedding weekend. Every detail and moment was perfect and flawless. And I would know, because not only was I Kelly and Louis’ photographer, but I was also their bridesmaid. What a double honor!
My best friend, Kelly, and her family and new in-laws planned a seriously stunning celebration weekend. From the bridesmaid luncheon to the incredible rehearsal dinner, the toasts, the beautiful Louisville rooftop ceremony to the reception complete with buffalo chicken dip late night snacks and a sparkler send-off, everything was wonderful. Every moment that Kelly and Louis put together was special. From a bridesmaids perspective, they made everyone feel loved and appreciated and kept the dance floor popping. And from a photographers perspective, they were cool as cucumbers, totally in love, picture perfect, and a pleasure to work with.
Thank you one million times over to Kelly and Louis for letting me photograph your wedding, and of course, for your years of friendship. I am overjoyed for you both and can’t wait to be there with you as you live out every happy moment of life.
And another huge THANK YOU to Rebecca Shehorn for coming to Louisville, helping me shoot this wedding, dancing with me at the reception, photographing my every bit of cake, being so sweet and wonderful to my friends, and for providing the bridal party, bridesmaid and ceremony photos on this post. You’re the best!

This wedding was beautiful. Oh my goodness the weather was gorgeous, the bride and groom were wonderful and the decor was stunning. Julie and Stephen created a wedding day that was perfect from start to finish. This fun loving couple was a blast to work with and I couldn’t be more thankful of their friendly personalities. Enjoy this sneak peek of Julie and Stephen’s lovely Omni wedding.
Meryn and Max had a really special wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens. They made their day exactly what they wanted and exactly who they are. Readings of poetry and floral filled books paid tribute to their love of literature, a breathtaking foot washing ceremony displayed their love in the most sincere way, and a Polaroid photo booth allowed them to capture their friends and family with vintage flair. This wedding was beautiful. And because Meryn and Max love photos, we took tons. All the way down to the last moment of sunlight, right after their grand exit, we were still capturing sweet moments between the newlyweds. Such a dream for a photographer!
Thanks to Meryn and Max for letting us photograph your beautiful wedding. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Holly and Andrew are a really sweet couple. On their wedding day, they both just radiated happiness. With the help of my very favorite wedding planner and office-mate, Boldly Chic Events, Holly and Andrew planned a wedding day that was flawless. Their gorgeous decor and florals, beautiful Meridian United Methodist Church ceremony, memorable and personal Boiler Maker Special grand exit, and stunning Columbia Club reception celebrated their love with a night everyone enjoyed. I had a wonderful time photographing this wedding and couldn’t be happier for this lovely couple. Thanks to Holly and Andrew for a great day. You two are the best!
Kayla and Ian become husband and wife on a day filled with personal touches. Kayla’s love for glitz made it’s way to the wedding with crystal details and Tiffany’s blue favor boxes. Their love for their fraternity and sorority was evident and they celebrated their friendships by honoring each brother and sister with a pink and yellow rose. And in honor of their last name, Fox, Kayla and Ian added adorable touches to their reception with a sweet fox cake topper and bride and groom fox wine glasses. Together, Kayla and Ian made their wedding day celebrate exactly who they are
Huge thanks to Kayla and Ian for letting us capture your happy day. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Suzette and Kevin are a couple with hearts that simply put, beat for each other. They are a perfect coupling. And because I’m invested in these two outside of just this wedding, I’m overjoyed at this perfect match.
Suzette and Kevin planned a wedding that speaks entirely of their life’s loves. It was romantic, elegant, well-planned, and hugely family based. Between the two of them, Kevin and Suzette share 6 sisters and 4 brothers. And each one of them, along with their spouses, found a place in Suzette and Kevin’s bridal party. The dance floor was full from the first dance to the very last song with cousins and aunts and uncles.
But the most incredible act of love of family came from Suzette. While Kevin’s ill grandfather sat in his kitchen as the wedding day progressed, unable to attend the celebration, he had no idea that a trolley filled with his grandson and his beautiful new wife was making its way to him. Kevin and Suzette, followed by their bridal party, walked into that kitchen surprising their grandfather. And that face. That smile. It was radiant. When I look back on the pictures of that moment, I’m pleased to know with certainty that they’ll be loved for a lifetime. And I am thankful that I got to capture such a loving and giving and family-based gesture of a beautiful bride for her new husband. Kevin and his family were able to take a beautiful family photo in that kitchen with the newest member, Suzette, and their grandpa.
Thank you to Suzette and Kevin for a beautiful day from top to bottom. For a wedding filled with elegance and grace, and for a lovely moment that I’ll always be glad I could photograph. I’m so happy for your life together. Enjoy this sneak peek.
