A kind and loving couple, stunning location, my best friend in tow, and sand beneath my feet. I looked through my view finder, finding the ocean behind Kate and Nate, and knew my life was amazing. For so many reasons this trip spoke that sentiment. Because I was in Mexico, working on the beach. Because I was surrounded by the most wonderful bride and groom and bridal party, feeling like a guest rather than an employee. Because I was there with Mallary. Because in our down time we swam with dolphins, went to the spa, ordered room service, and ate like royalty. And because I was able to create.
There is a thrill I get when I am able to capture something new. And Mexico gave me that thrill. I loved photographing Kate and Nate around the town our hotel was in, snapping pictures in alleys, market places, and tucked inside a lush treed area. I loved capturing the moments they shared dancing on their wedding night in the moonlight. I adore the shots we took as they said “I Do,” on the beach. And more than anything, I loved just capturing these two being happy.
Kate and Nate are something special. They’re wonderful. Absolutely great. They are loved by so many and perfect for one another and sharing this incredible week with them was a gift. Huge, huge thanks to Kate and Nate for an amazing trip. We loved every single second and will always be thankful that we got to photograph your happiest day. Enjoy this (super long) sneak peek.
Lindsey and Michael had a beautiful wedding that they filled with so much love, kind moments with friends and family, and a lovely ceremony officiated by Michael’s dad. These high school sweethearts got married on a day fit for two who have only had eyes for each other…really ever. They are wonderful and so sweet and I was thrilled to photograph their wedding. Enjoy these moments and memories.
Madeline and Jason are an awesome, relaxed, easy-going couple. They’re fun to photograph and to chat with. And best of all, Madeline is a UK grad. I really enjoyed my time walking through Broadripple with these two, photographing some sweet moments for their engagement session. Enjoy this sneak peek of their photos and thanks to Madeline and Jason for a great day.
I knew Brad back in high school and am so glad to be back around him as he gears up for his wedding to the beautiful Holly. Holly and Brad are such a wonderful couple. They enjoy a good laugh and are so sweet to one another. I’m just thrilled to pieces to be photographing their wedding. Until then, enjoy this sneak peek of their engagement session.
Whitney’s friend said to me the other day, “There’s not a single bad thing you could say about Whitney.” What true words those are. Whitney is a doll. A complete sweetheart, matched perfectly with the charming and lovely, Freddy. Together these two planned a beautiful wedding. A day that was just as special as they are filled with wonderful and heartfelt toasts, an unbeatable first dance, a beautifully spoken ceremony, and a kind bridal party. They planned a day that celebrated their love. Thanks to Whitney and Freddy for letting us be there to capture it.
Enjoy this sneak peek.
Brandon is such a sweet guy. He planned a beautiful proposal at the Palladium and asked me to photograph the big moment. I couldn’t be happier for Brandon and his lovely and just as sweet FIANCE, Giulia. Thanks for letting me capture your special day!
Courtney is one of my very dearest friends. A sweetheart whom I have loved for years. She was my partner in crime in high school, a bridesmaid in my wedding, and now a beautiful bride-to-be. I am so blessed to be able to capture Courtney and her amazing fiance, Grant, as their love story unfolds. Starting with this lovely engagement session and then continuing in October as these two say “I Do.”
Congratulations to Courtney and Grant. I am so over-the-moon happy for you both. Enjoy this sneak peek.
Meryn and Max are a beautiful couple who are planning a beautiful wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens. But before they get hitched, we had to celebrate their engagement with some gorgeous photos at Eagle Creek Park. The perfect lighting, tall grasses, big trees, and happy couple made this session a great one. Thanks to Meryn and Max for a fun day. I can’t wait for your wedding! Enjoy this sneak peek.
Easily, in regards to my job, I am my happiest when I am being creative. Capturing images that are inspired and thoughtful, that’s my joy. This shoot embodied my professional happiness. And also a lot of my personal as well. Incredible people, talent beyond belief, a small idea that grew and grew, innovative elements, and some pretty great models.
I shot, surrounded by talents from Boldly Chic Events, Violets are Blue, Blue House Bridal, Faces by Kathy Moberly, Interprintations, and Jennie’s Cakes, this modern bride and groom and honestly stunning details at the Indiana Design Center in Carmel. The acrylic details, ombre color scheme, minimalistic cake, eclectic model styling, most beautiful flowers, touches of gold, flawless makeup, and creative setting made this shoot one that I could photograph for days. Honestly, I felt like I was capturing the product of a true dream team.
Enjoy some of my favorite images from a truly inspired day.

One of my very best friends is getting married. I couldn’t be more excited. Jenny is the most wonderful person and friend and she has really found her match in Dean. Together, these two are one of everyone’s favorite couples. They are kind and friendly and interested and caring to everyone they meet.
My husband and I think the absolute world of these two and we couldn’t have been more excited to pack up the car, camera, and baby, and head to Chicago for a day of fun and pictures with my best bud. For a couple of hours, we walked around Chicago with our baby in the stroller, stopping to take pictures of this pretty couple in The Windy City. I loved watching Jenny so happy. It’s what everyone can only hope for for their closest friend. And Dean is exactly what I would have wished for her to find.
Congratulations to Jenny and Dean on an exciting engagement and even better future. I can’t wait to dance like crazy at your wedding. Enjoy this sneak peek.
