Kate and Jordan have got to be the cutest couple I’ve ever photographed. Since the day I met them, I haven’t been able to stop talking about how sweet these two are and I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session for a long time. We pretty much filled the entire session with sun drenched photos, a cute dog named Moose, and tons and tons of Kate’s laughs. It was a great session and only got me more excited for their wedding.

Enjoy this sneak peek of Kate and Jordan’s engagement session.

I’ve known Jacob for years and have been lucky enough to get to know his beautiful bride, Jessica. They are an amazing couple. They’re funny and sweet and they’re really great together. You just feel good when you’re around these two. And for those reasons, I have been looking forward to Jessica and Jacob’s wedding all year. I knew it would be beautiful, fun, and a day everyone would enjoy. And I was right.

Jessica and Jacob planned a gorgeous party at Mill Top in Noblesville. The room dripped with crystals and bling and their white and green centerpieces were perfectly complimented with touches of glass and shine. Their ballroom, like their wedding, was perfect to the final detail and from the looks of it, all of their guests happily enjoyed the wedding. I know we did!

Congratulations to Jessica and Jacob. Wishing you guys the best!

My sweet friends, Tommy and Betsy, welcomed a beautiful little girl into their family. I know Tommy and Betsy feel so lucky to have Caroline in their lives, but trust me, Caroline is just as lucky to have as amazing parents as Tommy and Betsy. They’re so good with her and it’s so much fun to watch the three of them be a family together. Happiness like this is what you always wish for your friends.

Congratulations to Tommy and Betsy. I’m thrilled for you both and can’t wait to watch Caroline grow up with you.

Ashley and Kalie are an awesome pair of senior twins. They’re fun, always laughing, and just great to be around. While these girls claim to be volleyball playing students, I think they’re actually models because I mean, look how beautiful.

Thanks to Ashley and Kalie for a fun day of shooting. Enjoy this sneak peek!

Sometimes as a photographer you just get lucky. For this wedding, we got really lucky twice. The first time being with the couple. Tara and Marcus are phenomenal. They’re easy going and friendly and so much fun to be around. We always have a great time with our clients and Tara and Marcus were no exception. And for that, we consider ourselves pretty lucky.

The second time luck struck was with the weather. While sounds of thunder and rain filled the room as Tara and Marcus said “I Do”, we couldn’t have been luckier to find a rainless sky just in time for some post-ceremony photos. As we drove up to the circle, the rain stopped and trust me, we know how lucky that is. Thanks to a daring bride and groom, a super polite and kind bridal party, and some luck, we were able to quickly snap some great photos in a very small time frame as the lurking rain sat right above our heads. But even as drops started to fall, this couple stayed beautiful in the rain under pretty umbrellas.

Overall, this day was one Mal and I loved and we are so thankful to Tara and Marcus for letting us photograph it. Congratulations to the happy couple. Wishing you both the best! Enjoy this sneak peek.

I swear I always get lucky with our brides and grooms and Jessi and Jonathon are no exception. They’re kind and patient, they both come from wonderful families, and they’re UK grads. What more could I ask for? In fact, as a UK grad myself, it melts my heart to hear the Kentucky fight song at an Indy wedding.

Knowing these two were wildcats, I’ve been looking forward to their wedding since the day I met Jessi. And for good reason. It was beautiful. Their outdoor wedding was flawless with amazing weather, the green and grey decor was lovely, and the bride was stunning. Overall, their day was wonderful and I’m so thankful I could photograph it.

Congratulations to Jessi and Jonathon. Wishing you both so much happiness. Enjoy this sneak peek!

Natalie and Zach both graduated from IU and while the two never knew one another while they were there, they both love their IU roots. So for their engagement photos, we took a trip down to Bloomington to walk around the pretty campus and snap some photos.

I had a great time with Natalie and Zach. I always love touring colleges and it was so fun to hear about their wedding cruise. It sounds like these two will have a beautiful day! Congrats to Natalie and Zach and enjoy this sneak peek.

I met Monica and Joe while the two of them were visiting family in Indy. While these two are both from Indy, they didn’t meet until they moved to Arizona. And that’s where they’re planning a beautiful, beautiful wedding.

This engagement session was great for a lot of reasons. But just to name a few: Monica and Joe are kind and fun to chat with, we photographed a big portion of the session at my very favorite location, Mustard Seed Gardens, this barn has some seriously beautiful natural lighting, and I got to hear all about Monica and Joe’s rustic Arizona wedding…which I loved.

Overall, the location and the couple were wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for a better session. Thanks to Monica and Joe for a fun time and enjoy this sneak peek.

A really popular trend with engagement photo locations is heading back to old stomping grounds and shooting at colleges. I love when my couples opt to do this because I get to check out some new schools, see their favorite places, and consequently, learn a little bit more about our couples. For Lindsey and Mike’s engagement session, they decide to do just this so we made our way to Mike’s alma mater, Hanover College.

I really enjoyed walking around the campus, checking out Mike’s fraternity house, and scoping out the amazing views of the Ohio River. But my favorite location of the session was the basketball court where Mike played basketball all through college. It was great to see where he spent so much time and Lindsey and Mike loved being back in a place they both really cherished.

Thanks to Lindsey and Mike for a great tour and a great day. I loved checking out your school. Enjoy this sneak peek.

I say it all the time but I love, love photographing kids as they grow up. I first met Portia when she was no older than a few weeks and now she’s such a big kid! This one year old is on the move and getting cuter every time I see her.

Thanks to this great family for letting me photograph their changing lives and growing daughter. Enjoy this sneak peek!
