Wow! March has been an absolutely beautiful month around here and Karissa and Evan’s wedding was no exception. With the help of my friends at Boldly Chic Events, Karissa and Evan planned a lovely day full of sweet moments and stunning details from Sweet Pea Florals. It was a joyful day to photograph and I’m so thankful Karissa and Evan asked me to capture their happiest day. And considering that I was just 2.5 weeks from having my second baby, I’m especially happy that I was able to enjoy every moment with this wonderful bride and groom. Thanks to Karissa and Evan for a wonderful day and a huge thank you to my incredible team for helping my rock out this last month of weddings when I was super, duper pregnant. Jenny and Andre’s wedding was a beautiful start to the 2016 wedding season. The weather was beautiful, Canal 337 looked stunning and the bride and groom were absolutely glowing. I just adored celebrating this perfect day with Jenny and Andre. They’re so sweet and they both wore a permanent smile all day long. Their family and friends sang their praises and every guest was thrilled that these two had tied the knot. It truly was their happiest day.
With just a month to in my pregnancy, I must thank my team of Megan’s for helping me through the day, carrying an extra bag here and there and making the day extra fun. I really do have the best team, the best clients, and without a doubt, the best job.
Lucy and Kevin’s wedding was a JOY to photograph. I couldn’t have dreamed up a sweeter, more kind couple to finish off the 2015 wedding season with than these two. I’m so thankful for their incredible spirits and constant smiles. Lucy and Kevin’s wedding day was cold. Really cold. But these two were troopers and made every photo captured beautiful, despite their constant chills. They are simply wonderful and have the most lovely family and friends. From start to finish, I felt like the luckiest photographer to capture their happiest day. Congratulations to Lucy and Kevin. I’m thrilled for you both!
Elena and Fabian are such a fun and sweet couple. They planned a really great engagement session at locations that fit their urban style. I loved spending time at Midland Antiques and some colorful areas of downtown Indianapolis. It was so nice to be outside in on a warm December day and spend some time with these two. I truly can’t wait for their 2016 wedding. I know it will be stunning and considering how darn photogenic they are, I’ll enjoy every second of capturing their perfect day.
I grew up with Rachel, spending so, so many days at the pool and nights playing in her basement. It was really wonderful and special to photograph her wedding to Chris. I adored the details that Rachel dreamed up. Her cake, garland, flowers-she planned an absolutely stunning day. But more than anything, I loved seeing Rachel so happy and it was really sweet to hear her friends and family gush over her and Chris in their toasts. This wedding was one I was so thankful to capture. I had a wonderful time with Rachel and Chris and couldn’t be happier that they’re starting a very happy life together.
If you are lucky enough to be friends with Tammy and Riley, then you know that you have hit the friend jackpot. These two are the best. They’re funny, really funny. And they’re giving to those they love and those they don’t even know. They have huge hearts for their community. And they’ll welcome you into their home at any moment, filling your belly with good food and keeping you busy with games and jokes. Tammy and Riley are good friends. I’m talking the kind of friends who send you a birthday card in the mail the day before their wedding so you feel celebrated.
Being friends with the now Mr and Mrs Faulk is certainly one of my life’s biggest blesssings. And being asked to photograph their wedding day was truly one of the biggest honors. I had the best time speding the entire day with Tammy. It was incredibly special to watch someone I cherish so much transform into a bride and walk down the aisle to her true love. Tammy and Riley’s entire wedding day was perfect and every single guest was bursting with happiness for these two. They sure are special.

As frontman for My Yellow Rickshaw, Nathan has made a career of celebrating newlyweds. But this wedding was all about him and his beautiful wife, Caitlyn. The happy couple got married at Scottish Rite with the incredible assistance of Boldly Chic Events and beautiful decor by Sweet Pea Florals, their wedding was as special as they are.
Caitlyn and Nathan are two of the nicest, most wonderful people you’d ever hope to meet. They are madly in love and I’m over-the-moon thrilled that their happily ever after begins now. It was a huge honor to photograph this wedding and celebrate the new Mr and Mrs Klatt.
Kate and Matt are some of my favorite friends. I’ve known Matt since high school and simply adore his beautiful fiance, Kate. They’re so much fun to be around and I am so honored that they asked me to photograph their wedding. Add in that Boldly Chic Events is their wedding planner and you’ve got yourself one incredible event.

I had a wonderful time spending the afternoon with Julie and Jeremy and their family. Their engagement session was extra special because Jeremy’s son joined in for some family photos. I loved seeing this happy pair happy with his boys. We took their photos at Mustard Seed, which looked stunning as always. Jeremy and Julie are getting married at MSG next year and I can hardly wait to see their lovely summer wedding unfold. I know it will be perfect.
