Wow. I loved Kristen and Mike’s engagement session. We started their session at Bluebeard-the spot of Kristen and Mike’s first date. Their staff was incredible and let us pop in for some photos before they opened for the day. As we were taking photos there was a great guy sitting at the bar with a buddy congratulating Kristen and Mike. He noticed Kristen’s sign, “It all started right here” and he said “Stories like yours are why I love owning this restaurant.” We had no clue he was the owner, but were flattered that he recognized how special of an experience and story his restaurant provided Kristen and Mike. Like the Bluebeard owner, stories like Kristen and Mike’s are why I love my job too. I love that couples start their lives together with my pictures and I love that I get to spend so many happy days with so many wonderful couples. I don’t get to claim that my restaurant is where a couple met or had their first date, but for a lot of couples, I’ll get to claim that I captured the first day of their married life together. And I love that and I can’t wait to do that for Kristen and Mike. In the mean time, enjoy this sneak peek.
